Using QR Codes at your conference
QR Codes provide the convenience of directly accessing course evaluations and/or presentation handouts from your attendees mobile internet device.
How does it work? Prior to the conference each presenter recieves customized QR graphics (one for handouts, one for course evaluations/credits) with instructions on incorporating them in their presentation slides.
At the beginning of the course the handouts QR slide is displayed for attendees to scan and pull up the presentation handout.
During the presentation attendees can event take notes on the handout PDFs using apps like EverNote.
At the end of the presentation, the speaker displays the evalution QR slide, and attendees who scan this go directly into the evaluation. Upon submitting the evaluation form,
attendance is verified and credit can be automatically assigned.
